We are the Dunedain (pronounced like "dew-nuh-dine") of Iron Myth, masters of stealth and subterfuge. We have read the Stories of old, of the Dunedain rangers from the North that once traveled distant lands protecting the young and innocent from a great evil of a prior age. We now take up their call and follow in their sworn oath to face this new growing evil that faces the world of men.

We are treasure seekers and explorers. We are monks, warriors, rangers, mesmers, necromancers, elementalists, ritualists, assassins, dervishes, and paragons. We bring silent death to those that are bred from and for darkness, and we bring light to those who are seeking a life away from these defiled lands.

We are located everywhere, from Old Ascalon to the Crystal Desert, from Temple of Ages to the Southern Shiverpeaks, from Tsumei Village to Zen Daijun, and from Harvest Temple to the Imperial Sanctum. We are everywhere, yet nowhere. We are in front of you, while still behind you. Watching. Waiting. Whispering.


Iron is a substance found in the ground and in the body, and in both places it plays an important role. From the earth the dwarves mine iron to aid in the production of the weapons of war by refining it and creating steel. From the body of man, iron aids in the transportation of oxygen to our limbs so that we may move like the wind and crush like a tidal wave. Iron is also an important part of every creature's diet…we help to deliver those much needed iron dosages to our enemies. A Myth is what we are. Few have ever seen us, even fewer have been aware of our existence.
